State health commissioner Karen Remley says flu-related illness has fallen to 5% of visits to emergency rooms and urgent-care centers. But Remley says there are many people who are ill and 27 deaths have now been reported statewide. Shipments of the H1N1 vaccine went out this week to colleges and universities, including the University of Virginia where a vaccination clinic was held Thursday. Remley says samples taken from patients have not detected the SEASONAL flu virus yet.
