Bell Opposes Some Lawmakers' Approach To Medicaid



A local lawmaker hopes Virginia won't cave on the issue of Medicaid expansion. Albemarle Republican Delegate Rob Bell (pictured) believes the Commonwealth should turn down an offer from the Obama administration. Bell has voted against using a joint House-Senate panel to explore the Medicaid issue.  
Augusta GOP Delegate Steve Landes, who also represents parts of Albemarle County, is on the commission that's studying possible Medicaid expansion.  Bell has also authored legislation that requires more identification from potential voters.  Bell was a Thursday guest on the Schilling Show.
