Dominion Virginia Power has exceeded its first target. As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, the utility restored 86% of the customers who lost electricity. Dominion's goal had been 80-85% by Tuesday night. Dominion still is not saying exactly when power will be restored to the other areas. The utility is only giving out general goals. The next target is to have 90-95% restored statewide by Thursday night. But they're repeating their warning that the most remote areas probably won't have service restored until Sunday at the earliest. The total for all the state's utilities is 75% restoration so far. Meanwhile, the number of storm-related fatalities is now 11 with the addition of a victim in Loudon County.
