Dominion Says North Anna Plant Will Get More Features
Dominion Virginia Power might spend up to $40 million so that the North Anna power plant could enhance its ability to withstand earthquakes. Virginia's largest utility says the employees at North Anna will have greater flexibility during future seismic events like the earthquake that shook up Louisa County last August 23rd. The North Anna plant was not damaged after last year's earthquake, but its two units were shut down while the Nuclear Regulatory Commission conducted a thorough inspection.
