The Albemarle school hardest hit by a flu outbreak has seen some improvement in the number of absent students. Woodbrook Elementary absentees totalled 58 students Wednesday. That's an improvement from 71 on Tuesday and 86 students missing school on Monday. County school officials have moved up the schedule for the flu vaccination clinic at Woodbrook. It was to have been held on October 27th, but Woodbrook students will now be vaccinated beginning October 19th. The Thomas Jefferson Health District was able to secure additional vaccine from the state to make that possible.
