Garth Brooks' Las Vegas residency to end

Garth Brooks is preparing to bring the curtain down on his Las Vegas show after three years of concerts.

The country legend, who kicked off his residency at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel back in 2009, has announced the Sin City gigs will conclude with a final acoustic performance on Nov. 17.

Brooks says in a statement, "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wynn... (Boss Steve) Wynn told me that the Wynn audiences were some of the best in the world and he was right. As for Steve Wynn, he is one of the smartest guys I have ever had the pleasure of talking to or listening to. He does everything top notch and is the easiest and best boss I have ever worked for."
