Justin Bieber sued by ex-bodyguard

Justin Bieber has been hit with a lawsuit from his former bodyguard.

Moshe Benabou alleges the "Baby" hitmaker repeatedly struck him in the chest during an altercation in October 2012, and failed to hand over more than $400,000 in overtime and vacation payments.

He filed papers on Thursday seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery and a total of $421,261 in extra wages.

Ilan Heimanson, an attorney for Benabou, who was fired last year, tells the Associated Press, "For nearly two years Mr. Benabou devoted himself completely to ensuring Mr. Bieber's personal safety. Mr. Benabou deserved, as does any employee, to be treated with respect, dignity and in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, he was not. "
