Ligety wins super-G gold medal

SCHLADMING, Austria (Reuters) - American Ted Ligety won the super-G gold medal at the Alpine skiing world championships on Wednesday.
France's Gauthier de Tessieres took silver and Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal won the bronze.
