The Scottsville Town Council talked about the Chris Dumler situation Monday night but did not take any formal position. The Albemarle supervisors censured Dumler at their last meeting after he was convicted of misdemeanor sexual battery. Dumler says he will not resign from the board. The Scottsville Town Council is not taking a stand on the matter at this time, but will allow the public to offer feedback at an upcoming council meeting. Meanwhile, Albemarle parent Robert Burgess says his son was banned from county school property after the boy was convicted of the same offense as Dumler. Burgess is upset that Dumler did not face a similar prohibition as well:
Burgess was a guest on "The Schilling Show."
