Transformer Issue Shuts Down 250 During Rush Hour



A utility pole that caught on fire and downed power lines had traffic at a standstill on the 250 Bypass Thursday afternoon during rush hour.   Both sides of 250 were closed for a while betwen Rugby Avenue and McIntire Road.  The incident caused major traffic delays.  Officials say it appears there was a transformer fire on the utility pole.
