Dance For the Heroes this Saturday night at Fry Springs Beach Club.  Proceeds from the sale of tickets will be split and donated to the Charlottesville Professional Fire Fighters Association and Virginia Veterans Services Foundation Wounded Warrior Program. The UVA Drama Department presents The Seagull, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by U.Va. First Night Virginia will be the beneficiary of the X Lounge's Dine and Donate program on Wednesday November 4th.  10% of all proceeds that day will go to help fund First Night Virginia.  They have also announced their "Keep the Sparkle" campaign to pay for this year's First Night fireworks display.  They need $5,000 to keep this tradition going this year.  For more information click here

The Charlottesville Area Tennis Association will hold a Cardio Tennis Event as part of the Boyd Tinsley Women’s Tournament, this Thursday (April 30th) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.  Feisal Hassan, a National Trainer for the Tennis Industry Association’s Cardio Tennis Initiative, will lead this heart-pumping fitness event.
