Warriors Stay Unconquered Defeat Charlottesville 27-13



Charlottesville's Black Knights put up a valiant effort but came up short, falling 27-13 to Western Albemarle on Friday night. The Warriors took the lead in the 4th Quarter after LB Hunter Mitchell recovered a CHS fumble in the end zone for a touchdown to go ahead 20-13. Western put the game away late in the 4th Quarter on a 3 yard touchdown run by RB Adam Diehl put the Warriors ahead 27-13. Next week Charlottesville (3-3) travels to Louisa (4-2), the Lions are coming off a 19-16 OT victory over Orange, while Western Albemarle (6-0) hosts Monticello (2-4), the Mustangs are coming off a 59-34 loss to Goochland.
