Occupy Protesters Found Guilty



More Occupy Charlottesville protesters have been found guilty of trespassing.   Following a hearing Friday (Jan. 27) in City General District Court, 17 protesters were ordered to pay a $100 fine.   One of those arrested on December 1st pleaded guilty last month.   32-year-old Veronica Fitzhugh was found not guilty of indecent exposure for stripping down before being arrested.   The protesters were told to leave Lee Park after their permit had expired on November 30th.  They stayed past the 11 p.m. curfew and were arrested.
