Chris Martin messes up lyrics at Coldplay concert (VIDEO)

Chris Martin halted a Coldplay concert in Washington, D.C. over the weekend after messing up the start of a song.

The singer was playing the piano introduction to their track "Warning Sign" when he got the opening lyrics wrong and had to apologize to the audience.

Stopping the tune, he told the crowd, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I completely f**ked it up. Let's start again. I'm so sorry. I was thinking about something else and I shouldn't have been thinking about (that)..."

Martin continued to laugh off the mishap by joking about people's ability to publish a recording of his mistake on video sharing website YouTube, adding, "Now it's gonna be all over YouTube... YouTube is there to show how s**t we really are at playing music!"
