Matchbox 20 star Rob Thomas has signed on to help Cee Lo Green pick a winner on the new season of hit American talent show "The Voice."

The singer will join Mary J. Blige and Michael Buble as mentors. Buble has teamed up with judge Blake Shelton, while Blige will help Adam Levine's talent picks.

Announcing the news to UsMagazine.com on Tuesday, Thomas says, "I'm really excited to work with Cee Lo and love the idea that I may be in the room with a future superstar that the world has yet to discover."

The new season of "The Voice" begins on Sept. 10.
