Fluvanna Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

State Police say a Fluvanna County man was killed early Wednesday in a single-vehicle accident.  The victim is identified as 28-year-old Brian P. Keefe.  It happened at around 2:30 a.m. on Route 620 in western Fluvanna about a mile north of Route 701.  State Police say a 1997 Acura Integra was southbound on Route 620 when it ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree.  Police say Keefe was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car.  Investigators say alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
