Officials Share Their Views On Economic Development



Charlottesville, Albemarle and University of Virginia officials have outlined their approaches to attracting and retaining businesses. Chris Engel (pictured right) oversees the city's economic development efforts. Engel is bullish on our region's biotech operations. He says 20% of Virginia's biotech companies are in our region.
Albemarle officials are promoting ventures such as the Monticello Wine Trail.
