PVCC And YMCA Craft Deal



Piedmont Virginia Community College and our area's YMCA have a new agreement for the provision of discounted full-time preschool care and after-hours child care. The beneficiaries would be those PVCC employees and students who take classes on PVCC's main campus and off-campus locations. The child care will be available at the renovated Jefferson School in the city's Starr Hill neighborhood. PVCC and the YMCA will be tenants when the renovated facility opens as the Jefferson School City Center. Representatives of the Jefferson Partners (pictured) have been involved in renovating the 1926 structure.
