Area Democrats Blast Romney-Ryan Ticket



Local Democrats were speaking out on the day when the number-two man on the Republican ticket was in Albemarle County.  State Senator Creigh Deeds and other supporters of President Obama showcased their reasons why they don't want Virginians to vote for the Romney-Ryan ticket.  Deeds scolded Mitt Romney for his remarks in Florida about not worrying about 47% of voters.  Deeds says that group includes many Americans who worked their entire adult lives for their benefits.  University of Virginia student Alex Preve (pictured) says he's backing the Obama-Biden ticket because it supports Pell Grants that help with college education:
