Governor Requests FEMA Aid For Accomack



Governor McDonnell hopes Uncle Sam will help residents of the Eastern Shore who suffered losses when Hurricane Sandy hit their area. McDonnell has filed a request on behalf of Accomack County under FEMA's Individual Assistance Program for grants, low-interest loans and disaster housing assistance. He says more than 240 homes were damaged on the Eastern Shore.
