Culpeper Woman Wins $1 Million, Powerball Jumps To Record



The jackpot for the Wednesday's Powerball drawing stands at a record 425-million dollars.   That's because no one managed to match all six numbers to claim Saturday night's 325-million-dollar Powerball jackpot.   But Virginia Lottery officials say Vickie Jenkins purchased a ticket worth one-million-dollars at the Mosby Meadow Market in Culpeper.  The next Powerball drawing will be held Wednesday night.
