Virginians Keep An Eye On Fiscal Cliff Talks



Some Virginians are monitoring the fiscal cliff saga now that we're in the final weekend of 2012. The University of Virginia's Larry Sabato is guardedly optimistic noting the ball's in the court of Washington veterans Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell.  Sabato acknowledges some lawmakers on both sides of the aisle would not necessarily vote in lockstep with the U.S. Senate's Majority Leader and Minority Leader if they reach a tentative deal. 
The current deadline for avoiding the fiscal cliff is New Year's Eve.
