State Supreme Court Rules In Favor Of YMCA



The YMCA has won a legal battle to have a new facility in McIntire Park.  The Virginia Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the city, county and the "Y" in a lawsuit filed by some local fitness clubs.  They were challenging the financial arrangement and the lease that will make a new YMCA facility possible.  The deal was cleared at the circuit court level, and now the State Supreme Court has upheld that ruling.  City Attorney Craig Brown:
