Albemarle Police Arrest Two Burglary Suspects

Albemarle Police have arrested two burglary suspects in connection with an incident on Barracks Road.  County Police say 19-year-old Manuel Jose Portillo (pictured left) and 19-year-old Carlos Ariel Vasquez (pictured right) are each charged with breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony.  Police say a burglary was in progress on January 25th when officers were notified by the staff of the business in the 2600-block of Barracks Road.  Police say they were able to respond and make the arrests before the suspects left the scene.
