No members of the public offered an opinion Thursday night on Albemarle Superintendent Pam Moran's $155 million funding request for the next academic year. School Board Chairman Steve Koleszar (pictured) contends the county's public school students, employees and parents appear to like what the division has been doing.
Koleszar and his colleagues will hold a Tuesday night work session where they will try to craft a request that can go to County Executive Tom Foley. Moran is looking for a yes vote on February 14th, and she warns the board it must decide some big issues.
The board must approve a redistricting plan that's designed to ease the overcrowding at Agnor-Hurt Elementary School.
