Supervisor Ann Mallek believes Chris Dumler's future on the Board of Supervisors is in the hands of the Scottsville district voters. Mallek says it's not the board's place to override the Scottsville voters, and part of her job is to respect their decision. Mallek says the motion to censure Dumler was something she wrote because she wanted the supervisors' disapproval on record.
Duane Snow says he's surprised by her vote against asking Dumler to resign:
Mallek says it's crucial that the process be followed, regardless of how she or other board members feel.
She says there's a procedure in place that voters can follow if they don't want Dumler to represent them, and that's already in motion:
Mallek says she wants the Board to work together:
Mallek and Snow were recent guests on "Charlottesville Right Now!"
