STAB appeared to be in total control leading 28-0 in the Fourth Quarter before Covenant started a ferocious comeback. Covenant's Wildcat formation caused STAB headaches and led the Eagles to 21 unanswered points in the 4th Quarter to pull with a touchdown with the score 28-21. After the Eagles recovered a STAB fumble at their own 4 yard line, Covenant fumbled the ball in the own endzone and STAB recovered to extend their lead to 35-21 and crush the Eagles comeback hopes. Covenant (3-5) travels to Roanoke to face North Cross who fell to Charlotte Latin 31-7 on Friday night, while STAB (3-4) is off next week. Next Friday night our WINA High School Football Game of The Week features Monticello at Louisa, the Mustangs (3-5, 2-3 Jefferson District) defeated Charlottesville 34-14 on Friday night, while Louisa (5-3, 3-2 Jefferson District) fell to Goochland 28-7 on Friday night, our coverage begins at 7:00 with the Raising Canes Tailgate Show.
