Republicans And Democrats Look Back At November 3rd

Virginia's major political parties held weekend events where they hashed over last month's election results. Governor-Elect Bob McDonnell (pictured right) and fellow Republicans celebrated the November 3rd results at the Williamsburg Marriott. State Senator Creigh Deeds (pictured left) told fellow Democrats he bears responsibility for last month's losses in statewide contests. Deeds told the same Staunton audience his party must defend its seats in the U.S. House of Representatives next November. One of those seats is held by freshman Fifth District Congressman Tom Perriello.
