Vaccine Available Monday For CDC Priority Groups



The H1N1 vaccine will be available to CDC priority groups on Monday. The H1N1 flu vaccines will be available by appointment only at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Health Department for CDC priority groups. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), priority groups for H1N1 vaccination include children and young adults (6 months through 24 years of age), persons who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age, pregnant women, individuals with underlying medical conditions, and health care/emergency medical service workers. The health department has injectable vaccine and preservative-free nasal spray vaccine for Monday’s clinic. Call 434-972-6299 to schedule an appointment.
