Orange Arrests Ruckersville Man Following Road Rage Incident

The Orange County Sheriff has arrested a Greene County man following a weekend road rage incident. Sheriff's deputies responded to a Sunday night call about a shooting on Route 33 in the parking lot of the Harvey Williams Garage in Gordonsville. They found 31-year-old Joshua Haislip with a gunshot wound in his neck. The Sheriff's Office says 69-year-old Dallas Wayne Crickenburger of Ruckersville became upset about the way Haislip was driving. That triggered a confrontation, and witnesses indicated Crickenberger retrieved a handgun from his truck, and shot Haislip in the neck. Authorities believe Haislip's injuries are not life threatening. Crickenberger faces two counts of brandishing a firearm, one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and one count of malicious wounding. He is being held without bond in the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
